SECTION 7.1.1.3 - DELETE A
COMPANY
USAGE: Delete a Company from the
Companies master-file.
DISCUSSION: Care should be taken when
deleting a Company as no checks are made as to whether any other records link
to the code being deleted.
When you start the delete program, the computer will
initially ask for a Company code. Insert the code and press <Enter>.
To return to the COMPANY DETAILS MENU, press <ESC>.
To search for a Company, press <F9>. For further details on alphabetic searches, see SECTION 1.2.
Having entered a valid code, the computer will
display the current information pertaining to that Company. If you confirm that
you wish to delete the record, HiFinance will permanently delete the Company
from the Company master-file.
