1.5.2 - COMPRESS CLIENT FILE
USAGE: To remove redundant transactions from specified
files. This function will remove the transactions up to a date for a specified
file and recompute its opening balances as at that date. This removes information
(freeing up computer space) but the information is no longer available and is
not recoverable. This function is only used for specific large files, which do
not require long histories, eg Mortgagee files, and for removing all
transactions from a completed file, therefore just leaving the base information
for mailing and reference purposes.
